]]> The real-estate promoter plans the construction of a five stars hotel and "the best Costal del Sol golf course" in the locality of Estepona in the province of Málaga. It will compete with the Valderrama golf course situated in Stogrande (Cádiz).
The Aifos chief executive officer, Jenaro Briales, explained yesterday that the project will be located in a three million square meters estate situated in the Sierra Dorada area, although he did not assess the foreseen investment.
The hotel which is going to be called Guadalpín Golf, will be constituted by nearly a hundred of suites, a similar number of the other establishments, Gualdalpín Marbella and Guadalpín Banus, previously promoted by the company in this area.
Briales, who takes part of the second edition of the Salón Inmobiliario del Mediterráneo ( Mediterranean real-estate exhibition), declared to journalists that the hotel could be built in 2008.
Regarding the golf course, he announced that Aifos negotiates with the Australian Greg Norman so that he could take charge of the design of the complex, expected to be turned into the best Costa del Sol facilities. However Briales told that it is going to be " hard because Valderrama already has its existing fame". The idea is also to convert the golf course as a center where the best players would go to train and to enjoy this sport.
This is going to be the first golf course that Aifos will build expected to expand in the mediterranean area, reminding that Aifos already has housing projects in Alicante and Catalonia.
Further off the coastal strip, the company also counts on the Valle del Rosario Golf residential set located in Villanueva del Rosario in the province of Málaga. In Benalmádena, Hacienda Marina is developed and promoted and out of the province of Málaga, Aifos puts on market Portamar residential set located in the province of Alicante which is one of the most important enclave for spanish tourists. This set is above all constituted with more than 9.000 square meters of garden areas.

]]>The aim of Golf Tournament of Costa del Sol was to reach directly the final consumer and it was focused on British supporters. From their point of view, the tournament was promoted in various specialized medias in United Kingdom. In the first phases, there were about 1,000 people taking part of it. Among them, 36 couples reached the final round. They competed for the tournament victory until the 27th of November in Costa del Sol golf courses, in Atalaya, Parador de Málaga, Santana Golf, La Quinta, Alcaidesa and Valderrama.
Meanwhile, a journalists'tournament was planned, with 24 representatives of various United Kingdom medias. They competed against 12 other journalists who represented the Costa del Sol-España team
